Huron Valley Boys Varsity Lacrosse opens up MHSAA tournament play with 9-6 win over Livonia United

Monday, the Huron Valley Boys Varsity Lacrosse team competed in the opening round of the MHSAA tournament, defeating Livonia United, 9-6.
The Titans game out in the 1st quarter with scores from Brendan Dale, Logan Gillis Tyler Ristau, and defender Luke Ballard. The Titan defense was dominant led by captains Evan Surman and Luke Ballard, creating key turnovers and offensive opportunities. Mitchell Perkins and Joey Nadeau led with key faceoffs to help seal possession, with the help of their wingmen Evan Percin, Ty Thorell, Mike Sherril, Daniel Menzel and LSM(s) Austin Spring, Charlie Griesbeck and Reid Bentz. Goalie Colin Doyle had a huge 17 saves on the evening keeping the Titans lead secure.
The Titan players honored teachers on “Teach a Titan” night, showing their appreciation to teachers of Huron Valley. The HV Titans were also cheered on by the HV youth lacrosse team (Milford Knights) as they celebrated their victory together following the game. Nice Job Titans!!
