Monday, the Huron Valley United Titans came ready to play on Senior night against Walled Lake Western, defeating the Warriors 21-5, a victory led by the seniors (photo below by Jerry Rea).

Starting between the pipes was senior goalie RJ Nicolay who finished with 9 saves. Scoring was led by seniors Trevor Welsh (4 goals, 1 asst), RJ Solar (3 goals, 4 assist) and Zach Bridgewater (3 goals), while seniors Kyle Flowers (1 goal, 2 asst), Matt “scooby” Fus (1 goal), Michael Stibal and Alex Hubbard (1 assist each) also contributed.

Other scorers were Logan Gillis (3 goals), Cole Grindling (2 goals) and Alex Libby, Carsen Kettle, Francis Hendrickson, and Gryson Gardner each with a goal.

The victory improves the Titans record to 10-5, with the final LVC game on Wed versus Walled Lake Northern. The regular season will end on Friday where the Titans will host Howell in honor of teacher appreciation, “Teach a Titan”. Come out and support Titans lacrosse and teachers for the final regular season lacrosse game as the HV Titans prepare for the playoffs.
