Last week, the Huron Valley United Boys Varsity Lacrosse team went head to head with WL Central, a great rivalry game against a real good up and coming Central program. The Titans took the victory in the competitive game, 9-8.
The Titans came out with opening goals by Logan Gillis (3 goals) and Mike Sherrill (2 goals). The team's fast ball movement allowed them to run the type of game they planned to play against the Vikings. Down a goal in the fourth, senior attackman Trevor Welsh (Indiana Tech commit) coming back in from a first half injury tied the game up and started a 3 goal run to take the lead and hold off Central for the win. Other scorers were RJ Solar (2goals), while Alex Libby and Zachary Schroeder each had a goal.
