Last Friday and Saturday, the Huron Valley United Boys Swim and Dive team took to the boards and blocks at Royal Oak Middle school for the Oakland County Championships. The team produced 8 personal best performances and 4 individual scorers, the latter total being the most ever for a boys team in district history. Overall, the team placed 15th out of 31 teams.

IA West senior Alex Broadwater brought home a medal for his 3rd Place overall finish in Friday's Diving competition, and was supported by Milford junior Skylar Jess-Isenegger who also finished in a scoring position in 16th place.

In Saturday's swimming events, Milford senior Mason Brow took 10th in the 50 Freestyle while Milford sophomore Brendan Marshall took 15th in the 100 Freestyle. Brow, Marshall and Broadwater teamed up with freshman Layton Armstrong to place 13th in the 200 Freestyle Relay. Marshall, Brow and Armstrong were then joined by freshman Tommy Shaw as the quartet closed out the meet with a season best time in the 400 Free Relay to place 11th.

The team takes its 3-0 LVC record into a senior night matchup vs 3-0 South Lyon this Thursday @ Milford HS before traveling to Jenison HS for the MISCA Invitational on Saturday
