Huron Valley United Boys Swim and Dive opened their season with an out of conference dual meet vs. Hartland HS. While the team competed throughout the meet, they ultimately fell short of a talented Hartland team to start the season. Even in the loss, there were a number of noteworthy performances.

Sophomore Brendan Marshall placed second in the 200 Free and 1st in the 500 Free, achieving county qualifying times in both events. Senior diver Alex Broadwater added another event win on the evening with a personal best score that is currently the #1 ranked performance in the state. He carried his momentum from Diving into the pool leading off the 200 Free relay with a team best time of 24.78.

Overall the team had 15 personal bests in its first meet and looks to continue to improve in its next competition, the Huron Valley Invitational, on January 6th and 7th, here they will host North

Farmington, Hartland, Clarkston and Swartz Creek.
