On Saturday, the Hockey team hosted yet another unified team - Chippewa Valley. Timmy Hinkle roofed a puck to kick off the scoring in the second period (Austin Scanlon). It took another period before Ryan Danielson (Brendan Day) popped in an insurance goal. CVU pulled their goalie but could not beat senior Paul Baker who ended up turning back all 32 shots. Hinkle scored with 1 second remaining to ice the game. 3-0 Eagles.

Coach Ronayne: "We'll take the win but we needed every one of Baker's saves to beat them tonight."

Join LHS Varsity hockey this Wednesday for their tilt with the Milford Mavericks. Puck drops at 7:20 pm at the historic Lakeland Ice Arena.
