The Varsity Hockey team hosted a young Troy United team on Wednesday night at the LIA. Lakeland posted 10 unanswered goals in the first two periods, resulting in a 10-0 mercy win.

Goals and assists: Austin Scanlon two goals and one assist. Brennan Grant had a four point night with two goals and two assists. Linemate Ryan "Wheels" Danielson scored two of his own. Captains Regan Voorhies and Luke Weinberger each notched a goal and two assists. Sophomore Joel Slicker scored two goals in the third and rounding out the assists were Elliot Smith, Joe Sesi, and Timmy Hinkle. Eagles' goalie Paul Baker turned back all shots for his second donut of the year.

Coach Ronayne: "Troy is a young team and have had some losses this season. Their coaches and players are doing what needs to be done to keep their program alive. They never gave up and showed a lot of character."
