On Saturday night, the Lakeland Varsity Hockey team faced off at Lakeland Arena against South Lyon United, and the visiting team prevailed, 5-2.
Ben Getzen and Matthew Zaremba both had a goal and assist with Alex Libby and Ryan Ramboer adding assists. Final shots in the contest were 35 for Lakeland and 23 for South Lyon.
Next up for the Eagles is a game against Bloomfield at the DSC on Wednesday at 7:30 pm and the Cheboygan Holiday Tournament.
