Boys Varsity Golf loses to South Lyon East by narrowest of margins; Eagles fall, 166-167

On Thursday, April 17th, the Boys Golf program hosted South Lyon East at Brentwood GC. The Varsity team lost a close match, 166-167, to the preseason tournament winners. Senior Carter Sutton (39) was the match medalist and only player to break 40 in the difficult conditions. Also scoring for the Eagles were Austin Scanlon (42), Killian Voorhies (42), Crick Blakeney (44), Ray Stuart (53), Beckham Matt (57).
The JV team lost by a score of 205-221. Sophomore Josh Lacsamana (54) led the way for the Eagles. Also scoring were Brady Humitz (55), Yanni Karagoriogos (56), Mateo Santia (56), Chase Miller (56), Jackson Kelley (59).
The team has a busy upcoming week with tournament play at Indianwood CC and conference duals against South Lyon and WL Central.
