Exciting news from the Boys Golf State Finals:

Lakeland senior McCoy Biagioli, playing as an individual qualifier, finished 5th overall, firing a 75-71 for a total of 146 for the 36-hole event held at The Meadows on Grand Valley State University's campus.

Sitting in a tie for for 15th after day one, McCoy posted the 3rd-lowest round of the day on Saturday to rocket up the final leaderboard. As a 5th place finisher, McCoy secured All-State honors in his final high school match.
