Saturday, May 3rd, the Varsity Baseball team earned two wins against Walled Lake Western.

The first game was a continuation of a previous game that had been suspended because of darkness.  With the game tied at 2-2 in the 6th inning, the Eagles scored 4 runs, held off the Warriors, and took a 6-2 win.  Bo Bishop had a hit, 2 walks, and 2 RBIs.  Ethan Rowley earned his 6th win of the season by finishing the last 2 innings in relief.

The second game was a 10-0 shutout for an Eagles' win.  Grant Thompson pitched 5 innings of 2-hit ball, adding 6 strikeouts; in doing so, he earned his first varsity win on the mound. Jake Sorvari, Noah Hogle, and Brooks Scheck all had 3 RBIs in the game.

Lakeland moves to 18-4 on the season.
