Saturday, April 12th, the Varsity Baseball team traveled to Grand Blanc for a double-header. Lakeland lost the first game, 2-1. Jake Sorvari and Nate Sanko combined for 5 innings on the mound giving up 3 hits and 3 walks with no runs between the two of them. Brooks Scheck had a hit and RBI.
Lakeland won the second game, 7-2. Cam Chinavare led the offensive attack with 3 hits, including 2 doubles. Bo Bishop was on base 3 times and stole 4 bases, scoring twice. Ethan Rowley earned his second victory of the season going 5 2/3rds innings, giving up 5 hits, striking out 6 and giving up one run.
The Eagles move to 4-2 on the season.
