April 3rd, the Lakeland Varsity baseball team got off to a good start to the opening of the 2025 baseball season. Game 1 the Eagles defeated Walled Lake Western 17-2 in 5 innings. Jack Miller earned his first win of the season, striking out 6 and walking one. Adam Trzcinski led the offense with 3 hits and 4 RBI.
Game 2 with Western was called due to darkness in the 5th inning, 2-2. This game will be completed later in the season.
