The Varsity Baseball team opened LVC play yesterday sweeping a doubleheader from Waterford Kettering.

Jack Miller earned the win on the mound, throwing three shutout innings striking out 6 in the mercy-shortened contest. Joey Swartz was 4 - 4 with 4 RBI including a single, double and two triples. Bo Bishop, Brody Cutsinger, Cam Chinavare, Sean Latham, Adam Trzcinski and Ryan Johnson each had two hits as the Eagles banged out 20 hits in the contest.

Nate Sanko earned the win on the mound, throwing four shutout innings striking out 3 in the mercy shortened contest. Brody Cutsinger was 3 - 4 with a walk and also had 2 RBI and 2 stolen bases. Cam Chinavare went 2 - 4 with 4 RBI, Joey Swartz and Bo Bishop were both 2 - 3 with 2 RBI. Jamey Sanderson, Blake Loisel (double) and Carter Travis (double) all had at least one hit and two RBI in the game as the Eagles collected 13 more hits in game 2.

The wins move the Eagles record to 3 - 1 overall and 2 - 0 in LVC play. They next take the field Wednesday in Game 3 of the series vs. Waterford Kettering at home starting at 4:00pm.
