Saturday, the Varsity Baseball team hosted Hartland for its 2023 home opener. Lakeland split with the visitors, losing the first game 11-2 and winning the second game 8-5.
In the 2nd game, Brandon Lengers earned the victory, striking out 5 in 4 innings of work. Connor Demko had 2 RBIs while Ethan Yen scored twice.
In the 1st game, Trey Rowley and Ryan Johnson both went 2-4 to lead Lakeland’s offense.
