Thursday, the Varsity Baseball team opened up the 2023 season with a doubleheader sweep of Waterford Mott, defeating the Corsairs 10-0 and 11-1.
In Game 1, Jack Miller earned the victory on the mound. Trey Rowley and Joey Swartz each hit home runs, and Luke Weinberger went 2-3 at the plate.
In Game 2, Brody Cutsinger earned the win. Weinberger was 3-4, Rowley had 2 doubles, and Ryan Johnson contributed 2 RBIs.
