This past Saturday, the Varsity Baseball team had the unique experience of playing a game at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers. The game, part of the Detroit Tigers High School Baseball Showcase, featured the Eagles versus Holly.

Lakeland earned a 10-6 victory as every available player played an inning in the field and/or had an at bat in the team victory.

As few individual highlights included Tate Farquhar earning the win on the mound, Kyle Zavinsky had a hit and scored three runs, while Jake Werth, Kevin Krill, Gavin Meehan, Aiden Krause, Nolan Hull and Matthew Hanneman all had hits.

The win moves the Eagles record to 12 - 1 overall and 8 - 0 in the LVC. They take on Canton in a non league contest at home on 5.3, first pitch 4:30pm.
