Girls Freshman Volleyball comes from behind to defeat South Lyon, 2-1

Good Friday Morning! It's a great day to catch up on some results and post some photos from recent Lakeland athletic events.

First, last night, the Freshman Volleyball team came back in dramatic fashion to defeat South Lyon 2-1 to remain undefeated in head-to-head matches.

South Lyon won the first set 25-17. In the second set Lakeland was down by near 10 points but came back and won the second set 25-23. Lakeland then won the 3rd set 25-23 again. Shout out to Jessica Percin, Ava Brookshire, and Piper Huff for their amazing serves tonight which helped put the freshman team ahead. Aubrey Naspinsky (middle hitter) had some amazing kills and blocks. Lakeland freshman volleyball is now 6-0 ( 2-0 in conference play)

The freshman head to MI Elite in Pontiac on Saturday to compete in The Beast of the East tournament.
