After defeating South Lyon in all 3 games earlier this week, the Freshman Volleyball team then swept Milford on Thursday.  With an opening game of 25-15, Lakeland came out strong. In the second set, the Eagles came from behind, taking the Maverick's 6-point lead away from them until Lakeland had a 25-23 finish. The third set was another dominating game of 25-16.

The Eagles had 16 aces throughout the 3 sets, many coming from setters Ella Aberlich and Paige Steck, giving Lakeland an advantage. Cassie Crotzer came out swinging, getting double-digit kills against the Mavericks. Libero Lily Sienkiewicz led Lakeland's defense in tip coverage and digs.
