Tuesday, the Girls JV Basketball team defeated Saint Catherine of Siena Academy, 25-23.

The Eagles jumped out to an early lead in their home opener, but the visiting Stars rallied to take the lead.  In a tense 4th quarter, Lakeland regained the lead and won as a last-second shot from St. Catherine missed its mark.

Leading the way for the Eagles were sophomores Maddie Borders & Skylar Halbrook with 7 points each. Kalie Rhines had 5 points & Brynn Taliercio chipped in 4 points.

The JV team moves to 1-1 on the season.
