Huron Valley United Girls Gymnastics team places 5th at Jeanne Caruss Memorial Invitational

Saturday, January 25th, the Huron Valley United Gymnastics team took 5th place at the 12th annual Jeanne Caruss Memorial Invitational that they hosted at Lakeland. This is the largest meet in the state with many of the teams that will be competing for the state title this year. HVU earned their highest point total of the year to claim 5th place -- 139.45
Individual standouts at the meet were Milford junior Stella Musialowski who placed 5th on vault, 9.5, 4th bars, 9.175, 10th beam, 8.725, 5th on floor, 9.325 and 5th all around, 36.75. Lakeland freshman Alayna Lince placed 10th on bars with an 8.1. Milford senior Sophia Stankov placed 3rd on vault, 9.15 and 4th on beam, 8.775. Milford sophomore Lexi Hincka placed 8th on beam and 6th all around, 34.3.
Hartland won the meet with an impressive 147.125!
