Sunday, January 5th, the Huron Valley United Gymnastics team started out 2025 on a high note by beating both Bloomfield Hills and Fowlerville.

Lakeland freshman Alayna Lince had a great day with a 7.65 on bars and an 8.45 on floor. Milford sophomore Lexi Hincka scored the top vault score with an 8.95 -- her bars and floor score also counted toward the team total. Lakeland senior Mckenna Herman scored an impressive 7.8 on bars and 8.05 on beam. Milford senior Kaitlynn Elkins contributed on both vault and beam. Milford junior Stella Musialowski had a great day as well, scoring an 8.85 on vault, 8.425 on bars, 8.825 on floor. In addition, he scored an amazing 9.75 on beam, establishing a new school record! Next up is Farmington United on Friday.
