Saturday, the Huron Valley United Gymnastics team had a great Lakes Valley Conference Meet, taking 1st place with a 139.425 and thus taking 1st place overall in the LVC. Linden-Fenton-Lake Fenton came in 2nd followed by Waterford United, West Bloomfield, Walled Lake Maroon and Walled Lake Gold.

Lakeland sophomore Nicole Graham had an amazing day taking 1st in Vault- 9.4, 5th in bars-8.225, 3rd on beam- 8.775, 1st on floor- 9.375 and 1st all around with a 35.775. Lakeland senior Erin Murphy came in 2nd all around with a 35.575, 3rd on vault with a 9.1, 1st on bars with an 8.6, 4th on beam with a 8.575, and 2nd on floor with a 9.3. IA freshman Maeve Spicer came in 7th all around, 9th on vault, 6th on bars, 5th on beam and 10th on floor. Lakeland sophomore Paige Elwood cam in 10th all around. IA freshman Allison Thomson came in 7th on bars. Milford sophomore Vanessa West cam in 10th on bars and Milford sophomore Morgan Hester came in 7th on beam.

The athletes and coaches are very proud to have represented Huron Valley in the LVC, and especially pleased to bring home the victory.
