Saturday, the Huron Valley Untied Gymnastics team defeated Hartland by the narrowest of margins, 139.65-139.6, proving that every point does make a difference.
Everyone had a great meet. Top scorers on vault were Lakeland sophomore Nicole Graham with a 9.3 and Lakeland Freshman Halie Martin with a 9.1. Top bar scores go to Lakeland senior Erin Murphy with a 8.55 and IA's Maeve Spicer with a 8.5. Top beam was Erin Murphy with a 9.0 and Nicole Graham with a 8.9. Top Floor was Erin Murphy with a 9.25 and Nicole Graham with a 9.1.
Next meet is against Vassar on Jan. 19th.
