Wednesday, the Varsity Volleyball opened up its home season with a match against Lapeer.  The Eagles played well right from the start, finishing the night with a 3-game sweep of the visiting team.

In Game 1, Lakeland raced ahead to a early double-digit lead, winning by a final score of 25-7.

In Game 2, Lapeer gained some momentum, but the Eagles finished strong, prevailing 25-19.

Game 3 was a see-saw battle early on, but ultimately, Lakeland's formidable front-line hitters and blockers swung the game in the Eagles' favor, 25-15.
