Thursday, the Girls Varsity Volleyball team re-opened the Lakeland Field House to high school competition for the first time since March, defeating Waterford Kettering, 3 games to 0.  In doing so, the team secured the first win for Megan Polce as Lakeland's new coach.

The Eagles were rolling early, defeating the Captains in the first game, 25-5.  The following games were a bit more competitive, but Lakeland still made quick work of the visiting team, winning 25-8 and 25-10.

The team moves to 1-1 in Lakes Valley Competition having lost earlier in the week at South Lyon East.
