Last Thursday, the Huron Valley United Girls’ Swim and Dive team completed its LVC schedule with a 109-70 home win against Waterford. The meet was full of standout performances including sophomore Lola Beer breaking the team record in diving, scoring 247.05 points, which ranks 8th in the state this year. Athletes of the meet were sophomore Sydney Latozas for a pair of personal best performances in the 200 IM and 500 Freestyle, and freshman Lauren Sparks who produced stellar marks in the 200 Free and 100 backstroke.

With the win, the team moves to 6-0 on the season and 5-0 in LVC competition, becoming the first Boys or Girls Swim and Dive team to complete an undefeated conference regular season in district history.

The team hosts Notre Dame Prep on Wednesday at 6pm for Senior Night as they look to close out an undefeated season. LVC competition concludes next week with the Conference championship meet Friday 11/3 (prelims) and Saturday 11/4 (finals) @ South Lyon East HS
