Huron Valley United Girls Swim & Dive team competes in the MISCA Invitational

Huron Valley United Girls Swim & Dive
On Friday and Saturday, qualifying swimmers and divers traveled to Calvin University to compete in the MISCA Invitational. Sophomore Lola Beer placed 13th overall in the diving event, and was the 9th best Division 1 athlete. The 200 Medley relay of sophomore Nora Spangler, freshman Annabelle Thompson, and juniors Elle Dameworth and Mya Hutchinson swam a new team record and state qualifying time of 1:53.70. Hutchinson also swam a personal best, state cut, and team record in the 500 Freestyle, while Dameworth posted best times, state cuts and team records in the 100 Fly and 100 Backstroke. Thompson, Hutchinson and Dameworth were joined by junior Coral Hebert to win the 400 Freestyle relay to conclude the meet.
This week the team takes on Walled Lake United at home on Thursday at 6pm
