Thursday evening, the Lady Eagles travelled to Walled Lake Western for a dual meet with the Lady Warriors. From the beginning, the competition was a nail biter as the score seesawed back forth. Neither team led by more than 5 points from start to finish. Entering the the 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay, the last event, Lakeland clung to a slim lead. When the last swimmer touched and the water settled, the Lady Eagles would snatch the victory by 2 points, 93 to 91.

Next week, the Lady Eagles will travel to Pinckney on Tuesday for a dual meet with the Pirates before returning home on Thursday for our Battle of Bogie Lake with Lady Knights of Walled Lake Northern. During Thursday's meet, we will also be honoring our Seniors as they compete in the final dual meet at home.
