Thursday, the Girls Varsity Swim & Dive team welcomed South Lyon East to the pool for what proved to be an exciting meet. Behind sweeps of diving and the 100 Butterfly, the Lady Eagles battle for every point.  With the score close throughout, the competition would be decided in the final event, the 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay.  Despite going first and third in the relay, Lakeland fell to South Lyon East, 91 to 94.  It was the tightest score in dual meet action for Eagles versus the Cougars.

Next, the Lady Eagles will host Walled Lake Central on Tuesday before travelling to South Lyon Thursday, and Davison on Saturday.
