Wednesday, the Varsity Competitive Cheerleading team finished second out of nine teams at the LVC league meet with a total team of score of over 711 points. That placed second to Walled Lake Western, which finishes first every year and was a state finalist last year.
The final LVC league meet is on Saturday, Feb. 8 with the Eagles having a great chance at taking second in the league.
Just a reminder that Lakeland is hosting its annual Cheer Invitational this Saturday, Feb. 1. JV and Middle school teams go at 9am and the Varsity division starts at 11am. We hope to get a number of fans to come out to cheer on Lakeland Varsity at 11am in the midst of their most successful season to date.
