Saturday, the Varsity Competitive Cheer team competed in its first official of the meet of the season, finishing 7th out of 12 Division I teams at the CCCAM Scholarship Meet in Troy. Notable competitors this weekend included the 2019 D1 state runner-up team from Rochester Adams, annual state qualifiers Hartland, and up-and-coming Plymouth.
The team earned a final score of 671.06, keeping up a tradition of topping its high score from the previous week.
