Saturday, the Lakeland Varsity Competitive Cheer team became the first cheer team in school history to qualify for the state Regionals, placing 4th out of 13 teams in Districts at Novi.

The Eagles scored a total of 723 points and will be among the final 16 teams in the state competing in Division 1 next week. They will be at Hartland starting at 11 a.m. for the Regionals.

The student-athletes, coaches, and parents would love to see a great student turnout as the girls try to qualify for the State Finals.
