The Girls Track & Field team opened its 2019 season by hosting a LVC Tri-meet with Waterford Kettering and Walled Lake Western.  The host Eagles had strong efforts throughout the meet, resulting in victories over both teams.  The final scores: Lakeland 82 - Walled Lake Western 45 and Lakeland 93 - Waterford Kettering 33. 

The Eagles had first place efforts from the 3200m relay team (Rylee Lukes, Lauren Garbovits, Aria Novello, and Madeline Rehm), Sarah Daniels in the 100m dash, Emma Camp in the 400m run, Rachel Palaian in the pole vault, Alexa Styranec in the high jump, while Lukes and Rehm also won individual races.
