Last Thursday, the Girls Golf team had events at the Varsity and JV level.
The Varsity team defeated Walled Lake Northern in a LVC dual match, 191-214 (lower score is better in golf). Gretchen Ullrich (44),
Keira Snody (44), Aubrin Miller (51), and Sophia Saad (52) contributed to the final score. The team is 1-0 in dual meets so far.
Next Up: 8/31 - D2 Oakland County Championship @ The Links at Crystal Lake.
The JV team competed in the Hartland JV Invite, finishing 11th overall. Competing for Lakeland: Ava Zavinsky (top score of 117), and three freshmen getting their first competition experience -Khloe Spell, Kate Schnell, and Leigh Schnell.
