Thursday, the Girls Golf team competed in a 9-hole match against South Lyon at the always difficult Cattails course. The Eagles struggled on the challenging course, and against the LVC's top team, that led to a 193-236 loss.
Junior Sana Singh, playing in her first event of the season, and sophomore Gretchen Ullrich shared Team Medalist honors by firing 58 for the round. Junior Bryn Dubin (59) and junior Lexie Martin (61), also playing in her first event of the season, rounded out the scoring for the Eagles. Hilary Fletcher (62) and Kate Norek (63) also played for Lakeland.
