Thursday, the Girls Golf opened up its LVC schedule with a home match versus Walled Lake Central at Hartland Glen. The visiting Vikings posted a 195 to best Lakeland's 207.
Junior Bryn Dubin fired a 43 for the 9-hole match, earning Medalist honors for posting the lowest individual score between both teams. Sophomore Gretchen Ullrich (51), senior Kate Norek (56), and sophomore Hilary Fletcher (57) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.
Juniors Kathryn Tooman (65) and Madeline Broe (67) also competed for Lakeland.
