This past Wednesday, the golf program opened up its LVC dual match season against the pre-season favorite, South Lyon. While the team posted a decent score of 199, the Lions were up to the task, posting a solid 176 to earn the win.

The Eagles were led by senior Bella Shaw's 49, sophomore Bryn Dubin's 50, senior Kayla Frank's 51, and sophomore Sana Singh's 51. Sophomore Ashlyn Dostal (53) and junior Sophia Shaw (55) also competed.

Lakeland had a second group competing against South Lyon's second group, and the Eagles won that match-up, 232-235.

Senior Lauren Sullivan (56), junior Kate Norek (57), senior Chloe Warner (59), and freshman Gretchen Ullrich (77) competed for Lakeland in that match.
