Last week, the Girls Golf program competed against South Lyon East at Tanglewood Golf Course, a challenging collection of 9 holes.  Lakeland had 2 separate matches going at the same time, an A group and a B group.  Both matches were competitive.

In the A match, South Lyon East defeated the Eagles, 208-214.  Freshman Bryn Dubin fired a 49 to earn Medalist honors for the day.  Freshman Ashlyn Dostal (53), sophomore Mackenzie Kotsonas (56), and sophomore Sophia Shaw (56) rounded out the scoring for Lakeland.  Senior Morgan Jantz (57) and junior Bella Shaw (62) also played in this match.

In the B match, Lakeland secured the victory, 215-222.  Junior Kayla Frank fired a 51 to earn Medalist honors in this match. Senior Malina Gallmeyer (52), junior Lauren Sullivan (55), and freshman Claire Getzen (57) completed the scoring for the Eagles.  Juniors Faith Conrad (57) and Morgan Main (58) also played in this group.
