Thursday, the program competed in a LVC match against Walled Lake Northern at Mystic Creek Golf Course. The challenging course and a solid effort from the Knights allowed WLN to win, 202-210.
Freshman Bryn Dubin led the way for the Eagles with a 48 for the 9-hole event. Senior Malina Gallmeyer (53), junior Bella Shaw (54), and senior Morgan Jantz (55) completed the scoring for Lakeland. Sophomores Mackenzie Kotsonas (59) and Sophia Shaw (63) also played in the match.
Ashlyn Dostal, Kayla Frank, Morgan Main, Lauren Sullivan, Faith Conrad, Claire Getzen also played 9 holes in a second-tier match.
