Monday, the program put 15 golfers on the course for a match against LVC foe Walled Lake Western. In the battle of each school's top 6 golfers for the day, Lakeland earned the victory, 187-214.
Freshman Bryn Dubin earned Medalist honors by firing a 45 for the 9-hole match. Sophomore Sophia Shaw was right behind her with a 46. Notably, Shaw drove the green on the 270-yd Par 4 17th hole.
Senior Morgan Jantz (48) and junior Bella Shaw (48) rounded out the scoring for thMe Eagles. Senior Malina Gallmeyer (51) and sophomore Mackenzie Kotsonas (53) also competed in the official match.
