Saturday, September 21st, the Girls Cross Country team competed at the Jackson Invitational, one of the premier races in the early parts of the season.
The Varsity runners finished 5th out of 29 teams in Saturday's race. The Eagles beat the 8th, 12th, and 14th ranked teams in the state. The Eagles came in behind the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th ranked teams in the state. Top finishers were Ava Alicandro (14th place), Maya Pletzer, Morgan Scally, Isabelle Verellen, and Genevieve Connolly
