Girls Varsity Cross Country finishes 5th in Bret Clements Bath Invitational

Saturday, September 8th, the Girls Cross Country competed for the first time this season, traveling to the Bret Clements Bath Invitational, where the Eagles finished 5th overall.
Senior Ava Alicandro paced the Eagles finishing 9th overall in a time of 19:31.23. Fellow senior Alena Tiernan (14th, 20:20.08), sophomore Maya Pletzer (19th, 20:29.49), sophomore Genevieve Connolly (28th, 20:47.24), and sophomore Morgan Scally (31st, 20:
52.87) rounded out the scoring finishers for Lakeland.

Lakeland had additional runners compete in the the JV race, where the Eagles finished 3rd. Freshman Gracie Grzymkowski led Lakeland with a time of 23:00.54 in the race, good for 15th.
