Girls Varsity Cross Country wins the Charlevoix Mud Run; Eagles have 7 runners finish in top-13

This weekend, the Girls Cross Country team made its annual trip Up North to participate in the Charlevoix Mud Run. The Eagles made the most of the road trip, taking first place in the event with 7 runners placing in the top-13 overall.
Junior Ava Alicandro finished 2nd overall with a time of 19:23.3. Teammate and fellow junior Alena Tiernan finished 3rd, while freshman Maya Pletzer took 5th. Breslin Scott (10th) and Mackenzie Hendry (11th) rounded out the scoring for Lakeland.
