Girls Varsity Cross Country finishes 3rd at MHSAA Regional; Eagles earn trip to State Meet next weekend

Friday, the Girls Cross Country team competed in the MHSAA Regional Race held at Kensington Metropark. The Eagles finished in 3rd place, thereby earning the opportunity to compete in the MHSAA State Finals next weekend.
Ava Walsh (8th) and Ava Alicandro (11th) led the Eagles. Alena Tiernan (20th), Natalie Joiner (25th), and Mia McDonald (32nd) were the additional runners who contributed to the team's score. Trinity Mann and Mackenzie Hendry were the additional runners for Lakeland.
Lakeland now looks forward to returning to Michigan International Speedway for the State Finals next Saturday, November 5th.
