Yesterday, the Girls Cross-Country team defeated Walled Lake Western 22 to 39 and South Lyon East 17 to 44, improving the team's record to 5-1 for the season.

Senior Madeline Rehm finished 1st, establishing a new all-time Lakeland record on our home course as well as posting the 2nd fastest time by any female runner on our course.

Rylee Lukes finished 2nd, Annabelle Mowers 3rd, Lauren Garbovits 4th, Aria Novello 7th, Emily Broman 8th and Ally Law was 9th.

The next meet is Saturday at the Oakland County Championships at Kensington Metro Park.
