Girls Varsity Cross Country finishes 10th at the competitive Jackson Invitational

This past Saturday, the Girls Cross-Country team competed at the Jackson Invitational, finishing 10th out of 22 teams in a very competitive meet.
Leading the way for the Eagles was senior Madeline Rehm who finished 2nd while running the 2nd best 5K time in Lakeland history (she also has the fastest time from last year). Junior Rylee Lukes was 37th, junior Lauren Garbovits was 70th, sophomore Annabelle Mowers was 75th, sophomore Aria Novello was 106th, junior Ally Law was 132nd, and senior Lilly Clymer was144th. As a group, each runner posted her best time of the season, an indication of the fast and competitive nature of the meet.
