Girls Varsity Cross Country has 5 runners earn medals at Northville Invite

The girls cross country team opened their season last week at the Northville HS Mustang Invitational. There were no team scores but a number of Lakeland runners distinguished themselves by winning medals given to the top 25 runners.
In the junior / senior race, senior Madeline Rehm took 2nd place, junior Rylee Lukes was 8th, and junior Lauren Garbovits was 16th. In the freshman / sophomore race, Annabelle Mowers was 8th and sophomore Aria Novello was 20th.
