Wednesday, March 5th, the Girls Varsity Basketball team competed in the MHSAA District playoffs, taking on a strong and talented West Bloomfield team on its home court. The Eagles played fierce, pushing the home team to its very limits, eventually losing, 54-46, although the game was much closer than the final score.

Aubrin Miller led the Eagles with 22 points, while Claire Linen added 10 points. Brynn Taliercio and Kalie Rhines both finished with 5 points, and Alena contributed 3 points. 

Lakeland finishes the season 16-7 and reigns as the two-time LVC Champion.
