Friday, February 7th, the Girls Varsity Basketball team encountered offensive struggles, losing to Milford, 36-28.  The Eagles had difficulty finding consistent scoring, and in this rivalry game which is usually a low-scoring one, that difficulty proved to be the difference.

Molly Farquhar knocked down a couple 3-pointers to lead the Eagles with 6 points.  Brynn Taliercio also added 6 points, while Aubrin Miller and Alena Tiernan each contributed 5 points.  Claire Linen chipped in with 4 points.

Lakeland moves to 11-5 overall, 9-2 in the LVC.  The Eagles host South Lyon on Tuesday in an attempt to join the visiting Lions atop the LVC standings.
